The song initially featured a bridge that was dropped from subsequent performances. The song was recorded for a full Homie album the following Winter at Fort Apache Studios by Cuomo along with Fred Eltringham (of the band [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigolo_Aunts Gigolo Aunts]) and Drew Parsons (who had played bass for [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Burdens_of_Being_Upright Tracy Bonham]).
