History
Overview
This three-track recording was sent to members of the Weezer Fan Club as a cassette tape.
"Pinkslip" was released in 1995 on Boy's Life Records on CD, vinyl, and cassette. The vinyl version of the single was pressed on pink seven-inch vinyl, and included "17 Braids" as a b-side. The CD and cassette versions of the album included "17 Braids" as well as "I Love Christian Stone" as additional tracks. The cassette version of the album was released without any art, and contained a yellow Supersport 2000 logo sticker. The cassettes were given out exclusively to members of the Weezer Fan Club.

Artwork
The artwork of the CD and vinyl versions contain multiple black and white pictures as the artwork. According to Cherielynn Westrich in a 2001 Glorious Noise interview:
<blockquote>
"The photos were just some snapshots of my friend Dakota and me. We were pretending the Bronco was a spaceship to the moon and his mom Shelley thought it was funny and took some pictures. When I saw them they made me laugh, so I made the cover art with them. Now people like to poke fun at me and my face."
