| "'''Ecce Homo'''" is a collection of demos written by Rivers Cuomo, from [[2011]] onwards, for [[Weezer]]'s ninth studio album. The phrase "Ecce homo", Latin for "''Behold the man''", is used by [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontius_Pilate Pontius Pilate] in the Vulgate translation of the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel_of_John Gospel of John], wherein he presents a scourged Jesus Christ, bound and crowned with thorns, to a hostile crowd shortly before his Crucifixion. The album cover would have been the 1475 painting, also titled ''Ecce Homo'', later used for the fan-club single "[[Everybody Needs Salvation]]", and would have included a fold-out star map and a picture of the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_of_Babel Tower Of Babel]. Many of the tracks from this collection would eventually appear on ''[[Everything Will Be Alright in the End]]''. Some drafts have the characters "Sebastian" and "Mary". It is also possibly intended to be a musical.
