==Overview== | |||
Benjamin Hogan at the age of 14 was introduced to the song "Buddy Holly" at a football game. Quote, "I’ll never forget how infectious the melody was. I remember being outside the game ruining singing 'eww ee eww I like just like Buddy Holly.'" From there Ben bought a copy of The Blue Album and fell in love with Weezer. Fast forward to college Ben hasn't been into Weezer as much as he was when he was 14. But then Ben has the biggest breakup of his life, causing him to listen to Pinkerton for the first time rejuvenating his love of Weezer. Ben soon became known as "that Weezer guy" around his college campus, solidifying his Weezer love for life. Near the end of college allthingsweezer.com was created where Ben would share his love of Weezer with like-minded fans all across the world. While not as Weezer obsessed as he was in his youth, Ben is still a fan and always will be. Today, Ben lives happily married to a wife which he met on allthingsweezer.com, and even a kid of his own. As for pets, Ben currently has two pugs.
Ben also appears as a vocalist in songs by A6 Transcontinental Supergroup, a group of All Things Weezer members who decided to turn some of their recorded conversations into songs.

===Interactions with Karl Koch===
Ben has gone on record saying that he had met Karl and Patrick Wilson a year after Rivers' fan interview. Recalling that Karl visibly winced when he introduced himself as Ben Hogan. It has been speculated that since this incident, Karl has attempted to persuade the band not to tour in Texas because of Ben Hogan's residence there. In conversation with a fan, Karl mentioned that allthingsweezer had gotten a lot better and wasn't as much of a problem as it was... except for Ben Hogan. In 2020, Hogan invented the fictitious Van Weezer song, "Kiss Me in Seattle". It was referenced by the producer of the album, Suzy Shinn, in an Instagram post that included a portion of the song playing in the background.Citation needed It was also recognized by Karl Koch, who debunked its existence on the Weezer Fan Club Facebook group.
