Brooklyn Projects merchandise collaboration
Weezer collaborated with Los Angeles-based skateboard and streetwear brand Brooklyn Projects on a line of official merchandise products in 2024 as part of a year-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of Weezer (The Blue Album). The merchandise line was made available exclusively through the Shopify-owned marketplace Shop App on December 6, 2024.[1] It went up on the Brooklyn Projects website later on December 11.[2] The collection included T-shirts, hoodies, and skateboard decks with Weezer and Brooklyn Projects branding.

A sweepstakes was held after the announcement of the merchandise; two people who purchased anything from the collection before December 14 had the chance to win a signed shoe that was worn by Rivers Cuomo in the collaboration's promotional video.[2]

Sweater Saga video game
Prior to the merchandise line, on October 30, Brooklyn Projects hosted the Blue Album-themed arcade cabinet Sweater Saga in its physical Westchester store. A tie-in with Shopify's Shop App was advertised; in-game scores could unlock "prizes in the Shop app" and "unlock exclusive products."[3] The cabinet was manufactured by LA Fabricators and painted by Marky Marks Kustom Paint.[4] Some artwork for the game was contributed by video game developer and professor MeeNa Ko.[5] The promotion ended at the end of 2024. As of April 2025, the cabinet has remained inside the Brooklyn Projects storefront.[6]
