The standard infobox for concert articles is the Infobox concert template. The box to the right is an example.
The infobox code should be placed at the top of the article.
Code
Most articles should only need the following fields (for the full list of fields see advanced usage). Do not remove fields from this list when the value is unknown; in that case the values should be left blank. Please note that the field names are case-sensitive.
If this template is substituted, it will return a cleaned-up copy of itself with unnecessary parameters removed and deprecated parameters replaced. Parameter indentation will also automatically be fixed.

| next_show =
}}
Details
Try to fill in as many of the details as you can. If some details are unknown, leave the section blank. Wikilink wherever appropriate, but make sure you check your links and disambiguate accordingly.
artist
The name of the artist the concert article is about. This value appears in the header of the infobox. Internal links are automatically ignored by the template, so they do not need to be added. The value of |artist= also determines the color scheme used for the infobox headers.

| Unknown | Unknown concert |
date
The date when the concert took place, formatted as "March 19, 1992" (without quotation marks). This value appears in the subheader of the infobox, below the artist. Internal links are automatically ignored by the template, so they do not need to be added.
If this parameter is left empty, the date subheader will not appear. When a date is provided, the page is automatically added to a category in the format
Category:{artist} concerts – Month YYYY (for example, Category:Weezer concerts – March 1992).
image
An image of the concert or related artwork to display in the infobox. This should be provided as a filename only (for example, Example.jpg), without the "File:" or "Image:" prefix.
The image will be automatically resized and displayed at the top of the infobox, below the header. If left empty, no image will appear. Pages without an image are automatically added to the category Cateory:Concert infoboxes lacking an image.
location
The city and region (state or country) where the concert took place. Use the format City, State or City, Country, depending on the location. For concerts in the United States, either the state abbreviation (e.g., Los Angeles, CA) or the full state name (e.g., Los Angeles, California) may be used. For concerts outside the U.S., use the format City, Country (for example, Tokyo, Japan).
When this parameter is filled out, the page is automatically added to a category based on the location, such as:
- Category:Weezer concerts in Country
- Category:Weezer concerts in US-State
This automatic categorization feature is currently exclusive to Weezer concert pages.
venue
The name of the venue where the concert took place. Use the name of the venue as it was at the time of the concert.
tour
The name of the concert tour that this performance was part of. This should be linked to the relevant article.
associated_album
The album that the tour was promoting at the time of the concert. This should be linked to the relevant article. The album name will be automatically displayed in italics.
support
The supporting artist(s) for the concert. The template will automatically pluralize the label to “Supporting artists” if multiple entries are provided like this:
- Band A
- Band B
prev_show
Lists the previous concert in the artist's chronology. Format the entry as follows:
- MM/DD/YYYY – city, state/country
For example:
- 09/03/2021 – Los Angeles, CA
- 01/07/2025 – Osaka, Japan
If needed, venue or festival names may be added at the end in brackets.
For example:
- 09/20/2025– Chicago, IL (Riot Fest)
next_show
Lists the next concert in the artist's chronology. Works the same way as |prev_show=.
Advanced usage

caption
A short caption describing the image shown in the infobox. Appears directly below the image.
headliner
The name of the headlining artist, if different from the main artist the article is about. If the article's main artist was the headliner, this parameter does not need to be filled out.
other_band
For concerts with multiple acts, line-ups, or festival performances. The template will automatically pluralize the label if multiple entries are provided like this:
- Band A
- Band B
debut
Lists songs that were played for the first time at the concert covered by the article. Song titles should be linked to their articles (if available) and placed in quotation marks. If multiple songs are listed using a bullet list, the label will be automatically pluralized.
If this parameter is filled out, the page is automatically added to Category:Live debuts.
guest
Lists artists who joined the main artist on stage for a musical performance or other contribution to the show. Multiple guests can be listed using a bullet list; the label will be automatically pluralized if more than one guest is provided. Links to relevant articles may be included if appropriate. Do not use this parameter for notable people in attendance or other non-performing attendees.
pers_changes
Lists personnel changes for this concert. Use this parameter if a band member was temporarily replaced by someone else, or if the main band lineup changed permanently for this concert. Examples:
- First show with Brian Bell replacing Jason Cropper
- Anthony Burulcich filled in on drums for Pat Wilson
attendance
The number of people who attended the concert. Instead of a number, text such as "sold out" may also be used. Regardless, this value should always be accompanied by a reliable source.
tour_mngr
The name of the tour manager for the concert.
press
For external or internal links to press articles covering the concert.
bootleg
Links to known bootlegs of the concert, either internal or external. This can include:
- Officially or unofficially released bootlegs on physical formats
- Downloadable bootlegs
- Archive.org links
- Full concert videos on YouTube
Example:
*Splash Club 1995 * Archive.org * YouTube
chronology
Used only if the live show chronology should not follow the main artist. This parameter overrides the |artist= parameter for the chronology section, allowing a different artist or band to be used. If this parameter is left empty, the chronology defaults to the main artist specified in the |artist= parameter.
If an additional live show chronology is needed, use the appropriate extra template under |misc= instead.
misc
Extra templates exist that can be inserted in the misc field, including Extra live chronology and Extra concert image. If you use one of these templates, don't forget to add a second set of closing brackets for the nested template.
Template:Extra live chronology

The artist field should be the artist that this additional chronology reflects The main_artist field should contain the same artist as the rest of the infobox.
Template:Extra concert image

The artist field should contain the same artist as the rest of the infobox.
