The Special Goodness performed at the Busch Campus Center at Rutgers University on October 26, 1999, the first show on their Fall 1999 tour. The show ended early due to poor sound quality in the room where they performed. Reportedly, the sound manager blew out the speakers during the opening act and the monitors were unusable by the time the Special Goodness went on.[1] Because of this, the band ended the concert roughly twenty minutes into the set.[2] An interview with the band was conducted backstage after the show and aired on the college radio station WMCX on November 4, 1999.[3]
