Weezer (Coloring Book) is a 6-LP box set and coloring book scheduled to release on April 10, 2026. It contains Weezer's first six self-titled albums.
Overview
On February 13, 2026, in celebration of Weezer's 34th anniversary, the band announced the Weezer (Coloring Book) box set and made it available for pre-order. The box set included new color pressings of Weezer's six self-titled ("color") albums (Blue, Green, Red, White, Teal, and Black) housed inside a hardcover coloring book featuring song-themed illustrations by Alec Longstreth. The set also included a box of six markers colored based on the six included albums — White's marker being a "magic marker" that reveals additional illustrations on the vinyl jackets. The set was sold on its own for $250 alongside a limited "deluxe edition" bundle, which additionally included a backpack and signed lithograph for a total of $400. The latter offering, exclusive to the weezer.com webstore, was limited to 150 copies and sold out within an hour of the announcement.
A collection of merchandise themed around the box set was released alongside its announcement. This included an expanded box of 15 markers, a set of six colored guitar picks, a condensed "flipbook" version of the coloring book, and a new T-shirt/hoodie design.
The concept for the box set was first devised by Crush Music employee Joe Spinelli in 2023. On June 14, 2023, Rivers Cuomo began a thread on his Discord server, Mister Rivers' Neighborhood, proposing the idea and sharing a crude illustration from Spinelli of how it might look.[1] His original vision went mostly unchanged.
