Weezer performed at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. on August 8, 2021, during the Hella Mega Tour, co-headlining with Green Day. The opening act was The Interrupters. Fall Out Boy was scheduled to perform but pulled out after a crew member tested positive for COVID-19. Due to this, Rivers performed a solo cover of Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin Down".
