...Aaaaaand OK! Back to The Meadows, AKA the Verizon Wireless, AKA a big ol' rocking spread in the wilds of Orange County. Weezer was here not that long ago, for the KROQ weenie Roast, but we're back again, bigger and better, for the Bleezer tag team finale!

Verizon Wireless Ampitheater, more fondly remembered by its original name of Irvine Meadows provided the very dramatic setting for the last show of the tour. The gods of rock were not done challenging weezer, sending their final challenge at the beginning of the last Bleezer show. Rivers's wireless microphone was afflicted with a bad case of the radio frequency blues - basically meaning it didnt work. The wired backup mic provided an emergency substitute for several songs, but wired is simply not the way Rivers rolls these days, and a good man cannot be tied down by wires! Rivers pledged right then and there to the crowd that he would fight on and the gods of rock would not beat him down this day. And lo, they failed to squelch the weez! After a few songs of improvising the "on a leash" style, the wireless mic returned, healthy again, and the final Bleezer show marched on into the night. Thank you to Blink-182, Taking Back Sunday, and Chester French for a fun albeit all too breif ride!
