"I met up with two weezer fans Taz and Kyoko who I had met over twitter (or the Facebook group?) and they drove down to San Jose from Oakland. There was some radio exclusive pre-show acoustic set thing, which Karl got a handful of us fanclubbers into. That was amazing. They just came into this random room (it was on a college campus) and stood there and played and then left. They played I've Had It Up To Here acoustic, which was really new then, and it totally blew my mind. The show was pretty basic - just running through the hits - in and out in an hour, playing in some huge auditorium space. We met up briefly with Karl afterwards, but they had to hit the road so we didn't get to hang out much." - Alec Longstreth
