"Why Did You Give Up?" is a instrumental recorded by Rivers Cuomo during demo sessions at TK Productions & Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles in June or July of 1998.[1] Cuomo's demo of the song was included as a part of the digital demo compilation album Alone VI: The Black Room in November of 2020.
