1000 Mona Lisas was a punk rock band formed in Los Angeles 1992. The band played small rock clubs in the Los Angeles area, appearing with Weezer at least once. They appeared on the 1993 compilation album Blackout L.A. alongside many of their peers in the LA rock scene. Two band members played in groups associated with Weezer: bassist Mark Higa performed with Brian Bell's band Space Twins, and drummer Bobby Tamkin played with the Warlocks.
