Brian Douglas Wilson (June 20, 1942 – June 11, 2025) was an American musician best known as the lead songwriter, bassist, and singer for the American rock and roll band the Beach Boys. Wilson was also the band's main producer, composer, and arranger. He was an early musical influence on Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo.
