I was drowning in the sea
There was no more hope for me
I was ready to give up my life
Then I heard a friendly voice
Telling me I had a choice
All I have to do is trust myself

Dead man's float
Coming home to you
Dead man's float
Nothing more to do

Now I want to tell the world
How I found this shining pearl
How I learned to drift and float away

Everybody tilt your head
Make believe that you are dead
Everything is going to be OK

Dead man's float
Coming home to you
Dead man's soul
Nothing more to do

When I look down on the earth
I can see the death and birth
Of a thousand systems in the air
No one tries to make it so
... only watch the show
And surrender when it's time to go

Dead man's float
On the way to you
Dead man's float
Nothing more to do

Dead man's float
On the road to you
Dead man's float
Nothing more to do

To do
