Today in Weezer History: 1/10/2001 - On this day in 2001, it was day 14 of recording the Green Album. "...today Brian continued working very hard on his rhythm guitar parts, nearly completing all of them in a marathon session. Then he took a break and Rivers went in to re-do some of his own previously recorded guitar with a better sound that was discovered during the course of the day's work. Then some more edits were worked on..." Todays photo shows Brian hard at work, under the watchful ear of Ric Ocasek. Brian is using one of Ric's several original late 50's Gibson Les Paul Jr's. This one sounded amazing but at this time had an ugly grey repaint finish, as an undercoat to a planned fresh (though non vintage unfortunately) new paint job.
