hard rock casino
finally back stateside after rocking many a european country to oblivion, weezer helped break in the brand spanking new hard rock casino in las vegas, which was also their first show in the us since december of 1994. the band opened with "the world has turned and left me here," and closed off their two song set with "my name is jonas."
the maniacal weezer fan may have noticed brian wearing glasses during this show, and wonder to themselves "why?" well, in an attempt to try out a new look for himself, young brian shaved off his eyebrows. the european press published many critical articles regarding this fashion boo-boo, so brian took to wearing eye glasses until the eyebrows in question began to grow back in.
