This Day In Weezer History: 10/1/94: Weezer starts a 2 month long tour opening for Live. Pictured are Pat, Matt, Rivers, and @karlophone loading their first ever bus with equipment, prior to driving down to Alfred NY, where the show was scheduled that night at the Orvis Activity Center. They had toured in a van up to this point, and asked "can we afford to use a bus?". Their manager replied "Not yet, but if you do this tour you will be able to". The band wasn't paid much for the shows, but while they were on the road that fall, "Buddy Holly" broke on MTV.
