Today in Weezer History: 10/22/1996 - Weezer plays the Liquid Room, in Tokyo Japan. This was weezer's first tour of Japan and it was pretty nuts. Kids were swarming the bands van whenever we were going to and from the shows, and they would camp out in the hotel lobby too. This was one of 3 nights at the Liquid Room in Tokyo, a well loved and rather small venue in a hi-rise shopping center. Photo shows the setlist from this night, as well as shots of Brian and Matt on stage.
