Today in Weezer History: 10/29/2005 - First post Foozer show, in Fresno CA. Fresno, Selland Arena, Make Believe Tour: today was the first show after the Foozer Tour ended, So it was Weezer taking the stage as the sole headliner, with Hot Hot Heat opening. Despite it being a smaller crowd than at the Foozer shows, "...the crowd went crazy. There was more crowdsurfing at this show than at most of the Foozer Tour!" Also, the band played "Are Friends Electric?", a Gary Numan cover for the first time at this show. Not many in the audience seemed familiar with this somewhat obscure nu-wave track, but it sounded great. A fan wrote: "...My impression watching Rivers tonight was that he finally came to a point in which he realized how much he loved what he was doing. From dancing around like fools to the whole band just soaking up the love it just appeared that the band had come full circle to the music that brought them and the world great joy." ---Paul D.
