Today in Weezer History: 10/31/2009 - Weezer concert in New York, NY at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This show was one of the more unusual shows for Weezer because they came out in their "All My Friends Are Insects" bug costumes from their recent taping of the "Yo Gabba Gabba!" show. Later, during "Undone", audience members were invited onstage to help them get out of the costumes as they played. Also there were some guests onstage during "I Want You To", Leighton Meester on duet vocals, and Nat Wolff from The Naked Brothers Band helped out on guitar. This show marked the end of a wild Weezer week in NYC, with Weezer playing The Hard Rock for SiriusXM, a secret show for iHeartRadio, Dave Letterman, an Alloy/Teen.com acoustic set at a performing arts school in Soho, and a taping of the Alexa Chung show.
