Today in Weezer History: 12/29/2000 - Recording The Green Album, Day 3. Today in 2000 the guys spent a 3rd day in Cello Studios (FKA Western Studios in the old days), on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, with Ric Ocasek producing. Today's sessions turned out to be super productive, as the basic tracks to eight songs were laid down: "Island In The Sun", "Starlight" (later a b-side), "Hash Pipe", "O Lisa" (later a b-side), "O Girlfriend", "My Best Friends" (later a b-side), "Crab", and "If You Want It" (early title of "Photograph").
