"I'm on the Outside" was demoed in contention for what would become Weezer's ninth album Everything Will Be Alright in the End, but was scrapped early on. The only version available to fans is clearly an early and imperfect take, with Rivers notably missing the start of the second chorus and continuing to sing the verse instead.
