2014/02/09 Show: Mississaugua, Ontario, Canada: Powerade Centre: Microsoft Store Opening
Today the weezer assemblage assembled in snowy, super cold Mississauga (or Brampton, depending on which GPS you use), a major suburb of Toronto, for a free weezer show hosted by Microsoft, to help launch their new store at the nearby Square One Shopping Centre. In a distinctly Canadian move, the show itself was put on at the Powerade Centre, a huge hockey complex full of local teams practicing, and the home of the CHL regional team, The Brampton Beast.
The kids fought their way through the snow and rotten conditions on the roads to come rock out with us, and the thousand or so people who waited for their tickets at the store and made their way over to the rink were definitely rewarded. Thanks to the fans for coming out and rocking so hard with us, and to Microsoft for putting on the whole shindig!
