...Its that time again, on many radio stations around the country - Modern Rock Madness, a listener voted 64 band head to head matchup, where one band is crowned the winner, NCAA college basketball style. Possibly the biggest battle is on Y100 WPLY-FM in Philadelphia, where weezer has won 2 of the last 3 annual competitions, thanks to the heavy voting of local and nationwide weezer fans! 2 Years ago Green Day took the crown, but last year weezer took it back! ...Wisconsin Weezer cover band Weerez had a weezer tribute night on 2/28, and reports are that weezer fans packed the place, sang along and had a blast. They are playing again on 3/26 at The House of Rock in Eau Claire, WI...
