2011/07/02 Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce, Quebec, Canada: Woodstock-en-Beauce Festival

Theres a lot of Canada that they wisely designated as "the hinterlands" many years ago - or perhaps there simply arent enough Canadians to fill up all the land they have! Either way, we are deep in the Canadian hinterlands today, marveling at the natural beauty and small town good vibes. The good vibe small town in question is Saint-Georges, which is a few miles from the Woodstock-en-Beauce festival site. The whole area is about 60 miles south of Quebec City, and only about 30 miles north from the border of another hinterland-laden area, the US state of Maine.

Now that the geography lesson is complete, we move on to rock, roll and a big old festival thereof. Today is the 4th day of the annual 5 day Woodstock-en-Beauce Festival, which features a decidedly eclectic mix of bands from around the globe. Like Weezer, Pat Benatar, and good ol' Fringants, et Grimskunk even. (see the full massive list here)

We are stoked to be playing the same day as the legendary Pat Benatar and hopefully can catch some of her set, as its on a different stage.

Photos later - are you going? Did you go? Comment here and/or in our message boards, tell your tale! Post your show pix on our photo page! Same goes for video clips if you got em!
