We are currently in an Econo-Lodge in Salt Lake City, washing up after what was a great show. Tonight the band debuted a new song: "Too Late To Try", as well as delivering "Mad Cow", "Preacher's Son", and "Slob". The band was stoked on the crowd and vice versa. Mikey decided to stage dive at the end of the set, which inspired Rivers to let the crowd strum his guitar. Of course, they ended up pulling it out of his grasp, and I had to play bad cop to retrieve it. I think I hurt my hand more than anyone's who I spanked. Then some pushy folks decided to grab Brians mike stand, presumably for the picks on it. i went to grab the microphone and ended up stagediving by accident. This put me into a bit of a mood, so sorry anyone whose ear I barked into.

Most excellently, Wayne and Claudia Allan (Mykel and Carli's parents) came down to the show, along with their sons Kenyan and Tyler. They came bearing homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk, much the way Mykel and Carli would have. Hooray! Also in attendance (as they were at the Las Vegas show) were Brian's mother, and his sister Leia. Also attending the Las Vegas show were both Anuj and Dan, RWA founders and webmasters. In their opinions, my computer has some serious driver problems, and will need some serious tinkering to get these mpegs rocking. I'll keep my fingers crossed... On to Boise... weezer's first show there!
