Klas Åhlund (born April 11 1972) is a Swedish producer and musician who is currently collaborating with Weezer during the production of their twentieth album and their now unreleased Christmas EP.

Overview

After Åhlund produced the albums Meliora and Impera for Swedish rock band Ghost in 2015 and 2022 respectively, Rivers Cuomo was inspired to use him as a producer for a new Weezer album, and got in contact in June 2023.[citation needed]

The first officially released song that Åhlund produced for Weezer is I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, released on November 30, 2024 for the Hallmark film Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story[1]. A few days after this release, Cuomo, in his Mister Rivers' Neighborhood Discord server, asked "how does it sound?" in response to discussion about the song.[2]
