Overview
"No More Confusin'" written by Rivers Cuomo while living at an apartment on Sepulveda Boulevard in Los Angeles in 1999. It is unrelated to the song "Congratulations" by the Special Goodness. The song was featured on a 2000 demo tape submitted by the band to Interscope/Geffen in hopes of receiving approval for a third album.[1] The song was in early contention for the Green Album, but was cut after the arrival of Ric Ocasek. Cuomo's original demo (under the title "Congratulations") was released in 2020 as part of the digital compilation Alone VI: The Black Room.
