Overview
"No Other One" was originally written in July of 1994. The song is in 3/4 timing. An early version of the song begins with the line, "My girl's on fire," instead of, "My girl's a liar."
Later, in 1995, the song was briefly considered for the abandoned Songs from the Black Hole album concept. In the story's second draft, the character Jonas sings about realizing that Maria is the one he wants after she gives birth to his daughter. The song does not appear on Track List 2.
