Paul duGre is a Los Angeles-based recording engineer and producer.

Overview

Paul duGre owns and operates Paul And Mike's Recording in Los Angeles. according to his online resume, his specialties are CD mastering, audio recording and production, location recording for Records and Film, and technical expertise in refurbishing vintage vacuum tube equipment and Design of custom tube audio gear.

duGre has worked with a wide range of acts since 1986, including Weezer, that dog., Bruce Springsteen, Joe Walsh, Kenny Loggins, Jim Messina, Leo Kottke, Los Lobos, Tracy Chapman, Jon Hassell, Dave Alvin, X, Bad Religion, The Weirdos, Steve Barton, John Wesley Harding, Peter Holsapple, Lorna Hunt, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Mike Gordon, and Rusty Anderson.

He has also worked as a sound engineer on several films, including 1996's Swingers.

Working with Weezer

Paul duGre engineered the session that yielded b-sides for the "Undone" single in 1994, namely, "Mykel & Carli", "Susanne", and "My Evaline".
