Overview

"Queen of Earth" is notably darker than many of the other songs Weezer lead singer Rivers Cuomo has written. It has a slow tempo and somewhat eerie production. Three versions of the song were, ostensibly, shared with fans on weezer.com but, due to an apparent error, two of these versions (June 25 and July 2) uploaded were, in fact, identical.

Lyrics

Queen of Earth, won't you stand by my side?
We've both waited for the whole of our lives

Come with me, we can build ecstasy

Never once have I felt quite this way
Feel my heartbeat is just slipping away

Want to live in my hole in the ground
I'm over and done, baby
I'm over and done
I never want to be alone
I never want to be alone

Want to live in my hole in the ground
I'm over and done, baby
I'm over and done
I never want to be alone
I never want to be alone
