"Star Wars" is both a highly successful series of science fiction films, as well as the original title of the first film released in 1977, now known as Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope.

Overview

The "Star Wars" films - particularly the first three - and their accompanying sub-culture are viewed by many as touchstones of an entire generation, including the members of Weezer, and the vast majority of their fan base. The intro for Undone - The Sweater Song was supposed to include samples from the films, although these were eventually removed and replaced with the iconic dialogue due to copyright reasons. The films got their first direct reference in 2017 with the song "QB Blitz," which namedrops Hoth, a planet that first appears in The Empire Strikes Back.
