Weezer (The Blue Album): Deluxe Edition order sheet weezer PATRICK WILSON - Drums / MATT SHARP - Bass, Vocals / BRIAN BELL - Guitar, Vocals / RIVERS CUOMO - Vocals, Guitar To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, Geffen Records is proud to announce the release of Weezer - The Deluxe Edition, a two-disc overview of the band's debut album with its associated international b-sides, demos, garage recordings and movie tracks. In addition, the album will feature the artwork as originally intended and also include new liner notes. Commonly referred to as "The Blue Album," Weezer was originally released in 1994 with very little fanfare; but of course, soon after its release all that would change. The album, produced by former Cars singer/songwriter Ric Ocasek in late summer of 1993 at famed Electric Lady Studios in New York, features such Modern Rock Radio stapes as "Undone - The Sweater Song," "Buddy Holly" and "Say It Ain't So." It also spawned two classic videos from a then little known director Spike Jonze. The album would spend over a year and a half on Billboard's Top album charts and wind up selling over three million copies. With the addition of early demo's, longtime fans of the band will now have the opportunity to hear what the band sounded like before they even began recording their debut album. Tracks: DISC TWO: MYKEL AND CARLI (b-side) • SUSANNE (from the movie soundtrack Mallrats) • MY EVALINE (b-side) • JAMIE (originally appeared on DGC Rarities) • MY NAME IS JONAS (live b-side) • UNDONE - THE SWEATER SONG (previously unreleased kitchen tapes) • PAPERFACE (previously unreleased kitchen tapes) • ONLY IN DREAMS (previously unreleased kitchen tapes) • LULLABY FOR WAYNE (previously unreleased pre-production recording) • I SWEAR IT'S TRUE (previously unreleased pre-production recording) • SAY IT AIN'T SO (original album mix)
