Fan recollection

I just saw =w= for the first time Saturday night at the Music Farm in Charleston, South Carolina. They rocked!

Nerf Herder came on at about 10:30 p.m. I had never heard them, but I liked them soooooo much, I bought the CD.

=w= came on about 11:30 p.m. I was down near the stage, and everyone started pushing. I used to really like to mosh and stuff, but this was INSANE! One guy almost got trampeled. I wasn't even standing up by myself because everyone was packed so tight... I didn't even know they had come on stage because there was there 7 foot tall guy in front of me! I ended up standing on a chair in the balcony and could still barely see!

They played about half of the blue album and all but two songs off of Pinkerton. Matt sat down on the floor and was acting SIL-LY! People were throwing sweaters at them and no one would shut up during River's acoustic "Butterfly."

ANYway, the show was great. I didn't think it was possible to like them MORE, but I DO!
