Overview
This short promotional concert featured a meet and greet with the band after the performance. According to a contemporaneous MTV.com article, "the first 250 people who bought The Green Album" from this particular store were invited to have the record signed by the band[1]. This created some confusion, as some fans printed fake passes to get access to the autograph session, and some people brought things to sign other than the album. The band sought to sign something for anyone who came regardless of whether or not they'd followed "the rules," as Karl Koch put it at the time.[2].
Notable about this show is that it occurred on the first day that Weezer publicly announced it had split from its management company, led by Pat Magnarella. As Koch explained in a Karl's corner post from that day:
