Weezer performed at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, Wisconsin on June 14, 2023 as part of the Indie Rock Road Trip tour. The opening acts were Momma and Modest Mouse. Musician Evan Marsalli (@dietlite_evan on TikTok) accompanied the band on guitar for the song "Buddy Holly," following a 990 day viral campaign to perform the song's iconic lick every day until Rivers Cuomo agreed to duet with him on TikTok.^[1]^[2]
