Fan recollection

Weezer-Rules mailing list member Kevin Kopplin wrote about the concert:[1]

I was at the show in Milwaukee last night, and it kicked quite a bit of ass; even though the show was in this big 26,000 seat arena with no talent, they still kicked ass.

before the show, the =w= was lowered and they started playing the theme from Family Feud. Matt said something about the Feud when they hit the stage. the set as good as I remember was - jonas, getchoo, no one else, why bother, good life, sias, buddy holly, pink triangle, dukes of hazzard theme, el scorcho, undone, and surf wax america.

Matt was awesome (and no, I'm not saying that just cause I have a thing for him) he was getting all the preteen gwen-wannabes to scream over him a couple times; liftin his shirt and doin pelvic grinding during undone and stuff. I loved it. my girlfriend loved it (even though we ended up breaking up after the show) how could anybody not love it?

I even stayed for that band that played after (gf's choice, not mine - gravity kills was on another summerfest stage and I got to check them out for a while)

but weezer kicked all the other band's asses. they were great

and I still have a thing for Matt, probably even more so now that I've seen him in action again. last time I saw them I was within ten feet of him and was baptized when he shot some of his drinking water into the audience. can't wait til they come back (specially Matt)
