Fan accounts
This was the EWBAITE tour, where they booked really small clubs (like 300 people?) and did a fan club presale, and played all of EWBAITE start to finish. Easily one of the most incredible weezer shows I've ever seen. We did a small fan club meetup before the show at a Mexican restaurant around the corner from the venue and Rivers showed up! That was so cool. We got to chat with him for a bit before he went off to do sound check. This was also the tour where I had designed my EWBAITE pinball t-shirt, so I grabbed one of those which was amazing. The show was totally incredible - such a great small venue, and totally mind-blowing to listen to them tear through that amazing album. - Alec Longstreth[1]
