"Please Pick Up the Phone" is a demo by Rivers Cuomo. The song was later reworked into the Weezer B-side "Mykel and Carli".
"Please Pick Up the Phone" was recorded in February of 1993. A photo of Cuomo's handwritten lyrics were posted to riverscuomo.com in the early 2000s. The demo was first heard by fans on November 7, 2020, when it was leaked online through the demo storefront on riverscuomo.com. The song was made available to all on November 22, when it was included as part of the digital compilation Alone IV: The Blue-Pinkerton Years.
