Weezer Make Believe.jpg

"Freak Me Out" is the eleventh song from Weezer's fifth studio album, Make Believe (2005). It is notable for it's extensive use of harmonics. Although the lyrics of Freak Me Out sound as if they are written about a homeless person, Brian Bell has said that the song is actually about a Spider. The song is most identifiable by it's unique use of harmonics throughout the entire song as well as it's use of Harmonica - notable because it is the first appearance of a Harmonica on a Weezer album since 1994's Blue Album.
