YYZ is song originally written and recorded by Canadian progressive rock band Rush.

Overview

"YYZ", taking its name from the abbreviation of Toronto International Airport, is a noted instrumental by Toronto-based Rush. It is fairly well-known among musicianship-oriented rock fans. At various points during Weezer shows during the latter half of 2000, then-bassist Mikey Welsh and drummer Pat Wilson would often 'jam' on the song's main riff while waiting for the guitarists to change/tune guitars between songs.
