2012/07/29 Show: Council Bluffs, IA: Stir Cove at Harrah's Council Bluffs

After a day of R&R&W (rest, relaxation... and work!) in the Chicago area, we got on the rock and roll bus and rolled overnight down to Council Bluffs, Iowa, on the other side of the Missouri river from Omaha, Nebraska. Here we found the Harrah's casino, where we are playing tonight at the outdoor area they call the Stir Cove. In this cove we expect the peoples will stir. Thankfully it will cool down a bit by the time the rock happens tonight, 97 is a bit toasty for good rocking.

Today we are happy to have Weezer Cruise alums Sleeper Agent opening the show - they were scheduled to open the Hammond Indiana show, but a snafu of The Law messed it up as 2 of the bandmembers were under 21 and werent even allowed to set foot in the venue! It was a bummer. A singer songwriter guy came in at the last minute to fill in, which was nice of the guy to do on short notice, but it didnt make up for the bum out for Sleeper Agent.
