08/12/04 like one million communist children marching into the sun

summer recording session, day 20. Yet another day of Rivers recording vocals, followed by an evening session wherein Pat, Scott and Brian re-recorded their parts for a song that had beed determined to be done with the wrong 'feel'. After several takes of that, Pat did further work on some drum fills for the song's somewhat dramatic ending section, with Scott and Brian coaching him on from the control room. Everyone was very satisfied and excited over the improvements that were made. In the ensuing review of where we're at with the album, there was renewed confidence that the goal of a completed album could be reached in time, so long as everyone continues to remain focused and work hard.
