Introduction to Myself

"Introduction to Myself" INTRODUCTION TO MYSELF
Hi! Guess who? It’s your favorite freshman – Peter. I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself for the sake of my grade (and therefore my health!) – and also so you can get to know what a great guy I am. First, let’s start with school. I consider math something that might be fun to watch from a safe distance, but definitely not a class to participate in. I love distance running, football, hockey and I love drawing. SS and Science are semi-interesting, but my favorite class is still lunch. German ist sehr gut but reading and creative writing are my strongest points (if you haven’t noticed already!) When I write a story I really get into it and I insert my own personality and thoughts into the plot. My past teachers could tell my stories from anyone else’s. I enjoy writing so much. I’ve always considered my self a good speller with an awful memory. My Lit teacher always complained that my handwriting was too small. I hate the color green and this stupid erasable pen! Last, and most importantly, I’m into music. Music is my life. Last year I was in the MMS Chamber Singers and had eight parts in the school musical Annie, including a solo song. This year I’m in chorus and the drama club. My musical career also extends beyond school. I play the drums in one rock group and lead guitar in another. One unique point about myself is I have a strong love for music and the desire to play it more than anyone I’ve ever known. For instance, most people consider practices a real drag. To me, each practice is the happiest moment of my life! I live for the stage. Acting, singing, drums, guitar, and I can even plunk a few notes on the rubber band! To sum it all up: 1) I’ll be a rock star. 2) After I retire, I’ll move to acting in plays or movies. 3) I’ll settle down in N.Y.C. and work for Marvel Comics. 4) At around 64 I’ll move to Nova Scotia to write books and try my hand at oil painting. You say I have high hopes? Well that’s one of my biggest traits of all – I’m a dreamer and one heckuva optimist. How else could I survive being 5’1’? |
