Friends of P. in Paris is an unlicensed bootleg The Rentals CD-R. Its cover art is a slightly modified version of the "Friends of P." CD single art, from which the bootleg additionally derives its title. It can be assumed that it was created in some proximity to the release of its associated album Return of the Rentals and prior to the release of the Rentals' following album (Seven More Minutes), dating it around 1995–1999. The extent to which (and by whom) it was distributed is unknown.
