Overview

"I Don't Want No Woman to Look Forward To" was written, most likely, in 1989 (or possibly 1990). Dubbed one of the "Cherokee Riffs" (after the house on Cherokee Ave. where Cuomo was living with his bandmates from Avant Garde/Zoom), "I Don't Want No Woman" is one of Cuomo's earlier attempts at writing his own material. During the demo, Cuomo is interrupted by a phone call from, presumably, a girlfriend who appears to break up with him, after which Cuomo resumes singing while pretending to cry.
