Karl's Corner - 12/08/2000

...the second last day of "pre-Ric" activity was another long day down in the 'garage', running through songs, trying different parts and structures, altering lyrics, and jamming out time after time, trying to get the songs wired... "the List" has shrunk to about 25 songs, with a few 'alternates' still slipping in and out of rotation, as their merits are debated by the band, their manager, Ric (over the phone), me, and others. Tomorrow should be more of this, and on Sunday the whole kit and kaboodle moves into a pro rehearsal spot, and the "finals week" starts.
