"Mr. Waldon" is a song by Chopper One. Initially released as a b-side for the 1995 7"-vinyl single "Free Lunch", the song was later re-recorded and appeared as the twelfth track from the band's sole studio album, Now Playing (later re-issued as simply Chopper One).

Overview

The inspiration for the song comes from the American film actor, Louis Waldon, who lived in West Hollywood, California.

The "Free Lunch" single was produced by Mike Bosley and Geoff Siegel at The Sandbox in Los Angeles and released exclusively on vinyl in 1995 by SideOneDummy Records.

Lyrics

Well, there's a man who lives in apartment 105
And he swears he used to work with Andy Warhol
He came after me with gardening shears one day
And now I'm fearing for my life

Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer

Without his brushes he ain't nothing but a joke
And he screams in my ears so loud I think I'm going deaf
I caught him putting nails in my back tires yesterday
And now I'm fearing for my life

Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer

He's so angry he will explode
He's so lonely he will die alone
Woah, will die alone
Woah

Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer (He's so angry, someday he will explode)
Please Mr. Waldon, give me an answer (He's so lonely, someday he will die alone)
Woah
