"Everybody Wants to Get High" is a Rivers Cuomo demo recorded in 1998. It has never been released.
Overview
"Everybody Wants to Get High" was recorded in February or March of 1998.[1][2] Cuomo's Grand File spreadsheet lists it as the third entry in a series of demos designated with a "C" prefix.[1] The significance of this designation is unknown, but may refer to Cole Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles, where Weezer rehearsed throughout 1998. MP3 filenames for "Everybody Wants to Get High" were listed as dummy data on the demo storefront on riverscuomo.com, but the song has never been distributed or heard by fans and the reason for its withholding is unknown.
